Dr. Mahesh Bandemegal, with an MS in General Surgery and an MCh in Surgical Oncology, serves as a distinguished senior consultant surgical oncologist specializing in breast oncoplastic surgery. With certification in robotic surgery from South Korea and training in HIPEC procedures from Italy, Dr. Bandemegal has garnered accolades such as the SmtSaraswatiJagmohan Parikh GOLD MEDAL in MS (Gen Surg) and the LT. RenuGovindjiAgrawat GOLD MEDAL in MCh (SurgOnco). He has held roles as past Treasurer and Group Editor of the Bangalore Oncology Group and currently serves as Joint Secretary. As a DNB teacher for Surgical Oncology super specialty and a guide for RGUHS fellowship programs, Dr. Bandemegal has contributed extensively to the field. His research articles in renowned journals underscore his dedication to advancing surgical oncology, particularly in organ preservation and oncoplasty in breast cancer surgery.
